A cardinal in the backyard of my parents' house during the one and only snowstorm this winter.
Took the boys candlepin bowling for the first time. LB loved it.
LB's snow angel.
JC's snow angel.
Enjoying the snow before it melts.
Making snowballs.... their favorite thing to do in the snow.
They were bundled up, but it was actually quite warm that day.
Cutie.
Our rig, getting ready to leave Connecticut for Washington. An F250, towing a Jetta, with two motorcycles in the bed.
The Verazzano Bridge in NY. Special to me.
The Delaware Water Gap... I've crossed this thing so many times.
First peek of the Rockies. The plains were so awfully boring, which is why I barely took any pics. Sorry guys, those states just suck, especially Nebraska.
Heading toward Denver.
In the midst of the Rockies, on Loveland Pass. We're overlooking I70 down below.
Taking a high altitude break. The boys didn't mind so much, but it really affected me and Hubby!
More Rockies.
Utah.
Driving over the Cascades into western Washington. PS- Idaho sucks, too. I'd be content to never set foot in that state again.
We got caught in a pretty bad snowstorm. Hubby said it was the worst driving conditions he's been through, which is bad considering he grew up in NH. Towing just made it more difficult!
Snow banks that came above eye level.
Exhausted by the time we reached Washington.
LB had enough energy to make a silly face.
The Olympic Mountains from our neighborhood.
This greets me every day (when it's clear).
Took a drive into the Olympic Mountains and up Hurricane Ridge. This is from the summit.
Our neighborhood, lined with pretty pink tree blossoms.
So we're here and settled and safe, finally! Only a few things missing, unfortunately one being a box of the kids' books. But we are really liking it here, rain and all! More pics to come as we explore the area, I'm sure.

Still alive
Sitting in a Starbucks, doing bills and stuff, but mostly escaping the whole moving in process. Imagine someone picking up everything in your house and neatly stacking it somewhere else. Scuba gear in the bedroom, motorcycle stuff in the Christmas bins, kitchen utensils in the living room.... I just feel like someone robbed us in a very organized way. Sucks.
Anyway, once I get internet service back at the house, I'll have posts and pictures, promise!

Milspouse (first) Friday Fill-in #69
Heh heh, 69... okay, I'll stop being a pubescent boy and return to being a 29 year old (uh, plus a few) woman...
1. What is your favorite / most unique birthday or anniversary gift from your spouse?
Burberry purse from 2009 that was supposed to be for my birthday that he missed due to deployment.
2. What's your first thought when you see it's snowing?
Snow day! Let's play!
3. What's one thing in the past month you would have changed?
I wouldn't have waited so long to get my sinus / ear infection under control. I'm still having popping in my ear.

Seeing the important people... my fam in LI, GA, my fam in NH. Good times.
