The total opposite of my Shit List, here are some people and businesses that are so great, they deserve a little recognition. Hubby and I like to joke that we wish we could take these people/businesses wherever we move.
Bier Garden, Portsmouth, VA- Some of the best German food I've ever had!
Dr. Bradford Carl, Carmel, CA- The best dentist I've had so far. This guy came in to his office at 8pm on a Saturday during a golf tournament he was participating in, just to reattached my temporary crown. And he takes United Concordia, score!
Dr. Fujii, TAMC- The best lady doc. Delivered both my boys and I'm so lucky. He's knowledgeable, has great bed-side manners, and really cares about his patients.
Amazon.com- Some of the best customer service I've experienced.
United Airlines- I always have great experiences with them. They've bumped me up free of charge and most of the time will waive the baggage fee, even though I wasn't traveling on PCS orders. My flights have always been on time and they've never lost our luggage.
Navy Housing, Honolulu- Getting into a house took less than 24 hours. Having any maintenance done was quick and on time. And the moving out process was a breeze (relatively speaking). The houses were nice and well-kept, and the lawn ninjas were always on time to help out.
IHOP, Salinas, CA- I wrote a letter to corporate after dining there. The staff was so helpful and nice, even though it was that free Scary Pancake day (which would make anybody working on a day like that cringe).
NH DMV- Some of the easiest and most pleasant DMV experiences. There was no lackadaisical attitude problem, no run-around, and no long lines. People knew what to do and how to get it done, therefore it was much less of a headache to me. Kudos, NH DMV.
JCPenney Portraits- They give military a 50% discount and a free sitting fee, plus a free 8x10. Yeah, it's not a private photographer, but they do a very good job and it's way more affordable.
UPS- They can ship just about anything I give them and they do it well. No broken items or missing boxes.
Salon Grazie, NH- Specifically Amy. She's the best at making my fuzzy, thick mane into something beautiful and feminine. In fact, I've given up finding hairdressers where we go. I just get mine done whenever I'm in NH.
