I'm mildly frustrated that:
1. LB speaks in half-english, half-gibberish and I can't understand him. Right now, he's asking for the yellow. I have no idea what that means.
2. The title for the 'bu still isn't here. I spoke with the prospective buyer today, and he and his daughter decided to buy the car. Can't do all this without the CA title. Selling a car in this state is a pain in the rear.
3. We are not part of a traditional unit. This shore duty thing is much different than sea duty, in many good ways, but also in other ways. Even though there was a lot of drama associated with it, the wives were pretty close-knit in our previous command. I kinda miss it.
4. Being a SAHM is extremely ear-numbing. Hubby asked yesterday while the kids were screaming, "Is this how your day always is?", to which I said, "What? I can't hear you."
5. I am so far away from my fam. It sucks.
6. I have two kids in diapers. And it looks like it's going to stay that way for awhile.
7. My pelvis isn't healing faster.
8. How lonely it is to be a SAHM. Numbers 5 and 3 make it worse. My simplistic day-to-day life of two and three letter words and primary colors is rotting my brain. I don't really belong to any community, and...
9. I'm not sure I want to. Meeting new people is exhausting because I usually meet people I end up not liking. I'm going to a brunch this Sunday to meet people in my Mensa chapter- we'll see how that goes.
10. There are too many things to do around here. This weekend is the CV Fiesta, Celtic Festival, and brunch, not to mention Hubby wanting to go on a hike and take the bike out. It seems every weekend there's a lot going on, and I feel bad if we don't take advantage of it all while we're here.
11. JC isn't old enough to stand up for himself when LB beats up on him. I'm sure I'll be playing referee in the future, but right now, I have to stop every two minutes to console the baby.
12. My Everyday Food subscription hasn't come yet. I ordered it in June.
13. With money. That's all I'm gonna say about that.
14. The dryer outlet won't take our dryer plug. I can only do one load of laundry a day, sometimes two if it's exceptionally warm and dry.
15. That this summer has been the dreariest and coldest summer the peninsula has had in awhile.
