Hello, my name is NHGirl, and I am a coffee drinker.
Hubby and I don't have a coffee machine. We were never those people that "need to have coffee!", but I think that's about to change.
When we were kidless, I didn't have to wake up at the ass-crack of dawn just to get to the gym so someone could watch the kids. I didn't have middle-of-the-night feedings to attend to, or human alarm clocks that go off before 6:30am every single day. I could nap when I wanted without worrying if a little person was going to light the house on fire or slice his fingers open. I didn't have to go to bed early just so I could get a full eight hours of sleep.
I still don't go to bed early, but the rest has completely changed. I'm up at 6:30am every morning, at the latest. On gym days, I'm up at 5am. LB doesn't nap any more, so that means I don't. And my gym gives free coffee, so I've begun to use that as a little morning jolt.
I think I've become dependent. I didn't have any this morning, and I feel exhausted... and it's not even 2pm. Yikes. I think Hubby and I need to take a trip to Williams Sonoma and get a coffee maker.
*sigh* Now I'm that tired mom who needs coffee. Sheesh. What next? Mom haircut, mom jeans, and a minivan??
How many of you need your a.m. coffee?? GA, I already know your answer! :)
