MilSpouse Friday Fill-in #13

1.How do you spend your deployment money, do you save, pay off bills or enjoy the extra money while it is there to buy the things you do not normally have? (from Troop Petrie)
I do a little of the first two. Deployment is a time for us to save up, usually because a move follows shortly! Besides, it's much easier to pay off bills when it's impossible for him to rack up any more. I try not to indulge while he's out- it's way more fun to save, then indulge together when he gets back!

2.If you could relive one occasion or moment, what would it be? (from Currently On Land)
I'd probably relive that doc appointment where my PCP told me that I didn't need a thyroid test since I wasn't over 50 and wasn't overweight. I would have smacked him, then demanded it done. Probably could have saved me a good ten years of feeling like crap every day.

3.What’s the worst job you ever had and if it was so bad why did you take it? (from Faith and Deploying)
Bagger / cart girl / cashier at Shaw's. It was my first job and I didn't know any better.

4.If you could play any character on TV, who would you be? (from Many Waters)
I want to be Vanna White. Her job isn't that physical and she doesn't have any pressure to learn lines. The only thing that would suck is that I wouldn't get to eat ever again and I'd probably need a nose job. :)

5.If you could become the world’s expert in something, what would it be? (from Army of Two)
I would love to be the world's best flutist or pianist, but I think I'd also like something in a predominantly masculine field, just to shake things up. Like, be an expert in drag racing or open-heart surgery or something.

Vanna does have quite the gig. Remember in the 80s when she had to wear those dreadful sparkly dresses?!
